News has come that Julian Mair, a key figure at JMMB Group, is departing, having tendered his resignation as Group Chief Investment Strategist, effective September 25, 2026.

He will be pursuing a new professional opportunity that represents an important progression in his career. As a founding team member of JMMB’s trading team and one of the Caribbean’s foremost investment strategists, Muir has been instrumental in building JMMB’s trading team and expanding its investment portfolio in the Dominican Republic.

He has also led JMMB’s capital markets team in structuring and arranging groundbreaking transactions for the Group. 

Driven by his passion for the industry and the region, Mair has leveraged his strategic vision and expertise in financial engineering to advance regional capital markets, including through his service as Chairman of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, former President and founding member of the Jamaica Securities Dealers’ Association, and as an advisor during Jamaica’s national debt exchanges, which preserved industry value while advancing national fiscal sustainability.
