Foreign Minister,  Kamina Johnson Smith is now in Xiamen, China, leading Jamaica’s delegation to the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT).

The annual fair brings together participants from more than 100 countries and showcases investment and trade opportunities, technological innovations and developments aimed at addressing barriers to trade.

The fair also provides opportunities for Jamaica and other participating countries to explore investment prospects, technical assistance and partnerships, while strengthening engagement with international organisations, including the UN Conference on Trade and Development and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, as well as Chinese and regional financial institutions.

The CIFIT will run until today, September 11.
