Kingston College (KC), the renowned North Street high school for boys, is celebrated for its legacy of nurturing future leaders, scholars, and sportsmen.

The KC Old Boys Association is delighted to unveil its annual fundraising networking event, the KC Legacy Fundraiser. This grand evening will be hosted at The Jamaica Pegasus Gardens and offers an inclusive experience of entertainment, complimentary cocktails, good food, camaraderie, and an opportunity to support the forthcoming generation of graduates.

Former KC Old Boy and Association member, Dean Nevers, shared his heartfelt thoughts on the profound impact of Kingston College and the significance of supporting the next generation of young men in Jamaica:

“Kingston College nurtured my appetite for business and ensured that I was not only academically strong but well-rounded as an individual. The values and experiences I gained at KC have been invaluable throughout my life, both personally and professionally. It’s crucial to remember that Jamaica’s future lies in the hands of our young men, and they need our support now more than ever.”

Continuing, he said: “We have a responsibility to invest in their education and development, to help them become the leaders and change-makers that our nation needs. Importantly, you don’t need to be a KC Old Boy to make a difference. I encourage everyone, bring your spouses, invite a few friends, and come out and join us for an evening of entertainment and fun. Your presence and contribution can truly change lives and contribute to a brighter future for Jamaica.”

Nevers’ words serve as a reminder of the transformative power of education and the collective responsibility we all share in nurturing the potential of the next generation. Kingston College has been a beacon of excellence in education and sports since the ’50s, and has been dedicated to empowering young men to achieve their fullest potential. The KC Legacy Fundraiser aims to raise critical funds needed to support the school’s educational and sporting pursuits, ensuring that these young men have access to world-class facilities and opportunities.

One of the highlights of the fundraiser will be a live performance by veteran musician Richie Stephens, a long-time supporter of KC. In addition to the live entertainment, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live and online auction of Kingston College memorabilia. The auction allows participants to acquire cherished items while contributing to the noble cause geared at empowering the next generation of leaders.

It’s important to note that you do not need to be a Kingston College student or a member of the association to support this meaningful cause.
