Kintyre Holdings (JA) is further strengthening its governance, oversight and leadership capacity with the appointments of three new directors.

They are Christopher “Chris” Denny, Jahmar Clarke and Neil Patrick. Together, the three appointments bring complementary expertise across corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, banking, capital markets, technology, telecommunications, product development and enterprise leadership. 

Denny will serve as Chair of the Audit Committee, bringing more than two decades of banking, capital markets and executive leadership experience to the role. His career includes senior positions as Vice President at Victoria Mutual Building Society, Vice President at Citigroup, Managing Director of Citi-finance, and Director of Retail, Wealth & Small Business Banking at FirstCaribbean International Bank in Jamaica, where he led a 350-person division regulated by the Bank of Jamaica and the Financial Services Commission. 

He has also held senior roles at NCB, Knutsford Capital Merchant Bank and Dehring Bunting & Golding and has traded on the floor of the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Since 2011, Denny has served as Founder and Managing Director of CariBEE with a focus on sales, public speaking, customer experience and leadership training. 

Denny also currently serves on the Board of JETS, including its Finance and Compensation Committees. His experience is expected to further strengthen Kintyre’s financial reporting, internal controls and audit readiness.

Credentials of Clarke and Patrick

Clarke joins the Board and will serve as a member of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee, bringing expertise in corporate and commercial law and regulatory compliance, adding important legal and governance capabilities to the directorship. Patrick will serve on the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee for an initial three-year term. 

He will also work directly with the Group to support the development and expansion of its technology division. Patrick brings extensive technology, telecommunications, product development and entrepreneurial experience. 

At Digicel Group, Patrick served as Group Product Marketing Manager, leading the messaging portfolio across 12 Caribbean markets and growing messaging revenues tenfold. He subsequently served as Marketing Director and Head of Products for Digicel’s Dutch Caribbean operations and previously held product and operations leadership positions at Orange UK. 

Commenting on the appointments, Kintyre Chairman, President & CEO, Tyrone Wilson declared that the new appointments bring valuable and complementary expertise to the Kintyre Board at an important stage in our development. 

“Their collective experience across law, regulatory compliance, banking, capital markets, technology and enterprise leadership reinforces the governance and oversight that underpin the Group’s next phase of growth,” Wilson said. 

The appointments, he argued, reflect Kintyre Holdings’ continued focus on strengthening its governance framework and building a Board with the depth of expertise required to support the Group’s expanding operations and long-term strategic objectives.
