Mayberry Investments Limited recently hosted institutional and private clients at its latest Beyond the Portfolio breakfast mingle on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in Kingston.

The event brought together clients and members of the Mayberry executive and relationship management teams for a morning of insightful conversation on liquidity, portfolio strategy and the Jamaican capital market, and served as the launchpad for Mayberry’s newest managed portfolio offering, Mayberry GO.

Mayberry GO is a discretionary managed portfolio designed for institutions and individuals holding liquid Jamaican-dollar balances. The portfolio invests in Bank of Jamaica Certificates of Deposit, offering central-bank credit quality, full liquidity and no lock-in period, with a current coupon of 5.50% per annum as at August 2026 and a minimum investment of J$350,000. Clients hold the underlying securities directly, in their own name, with access to portfolio reporting through Mayberry’s client portal and mobile app.

The portfolio was formally presented to attendees by Damian Whylie, General Manager, Asset Management and Melicia Jones, Vice President, Relationship Management, who walked clients through the portfolio’s structure, positioning and role within a broader liquidity strategy.

“Mayberry GO was built for a very specific problem that almost every institution and household faces – short-dated Jamaican-dollar cash that has to stay accessible, but shouldn’t sit idle while it waits to be used,” said Damian Whylie, General Manager, Asset Management, Mayberry Investments Limited. “What we shared this morning is a conservative, transparent way to keep that liquidity working, backed by central-bank credit quality and with no lock-in period.”

For Mayberry’s relationship management team, the event was also an opportunity to deepen existing client conversations around portfolio construction and cash-flow planning.

“The conversations we had this morning went well beyond a single product,” said Melicia Jones, Vice President, Relationship Management, Mayberry Investments Limited. “Our clients want to understand how each layer of their portfolio is working for them, and Mayberry GO gives us a clear, well-documented way to address the liquid, short-term portion of that conversation, while our wider Asset Management and Treasury teams support everything else.”

The Beyond the Portfolio series forms part of Mayberry’s ongoing programme of client engagement, designed to give clients direct access to the executives and specialists who manage their relationships and portfolios, outside of the standard transactional setting.

“Events like this morning’s breakfast reflect how we think about the client relationship at Mayberry – it is not just about the next transaction, it is about an ongoing conversation,” said Patrick Bataille, CEO, Mayberry Investments Limited. “The launch of Mayberry GO is a good example of that. It is a direct response to what our clients have told us they need, and I am pleased with the quality of engagement we saw from clients this morning.”

Mayberry GO is now open to eligible institutional and individual clients. Interested investors are encouraged to speak to a Relationship Manager or Investment Advisor to determine whether the portfolio is suitable for their liquidity needs, and to review the applicable product terms and disclosures before investing.
