Greetings Chy Hive,

Last weekend I took the mickey and went on a temporary hiatus that not only got me in trouble but also turned into a whole other level of expectation where my ‘daybreak,’ turned out to be an unplanned getaway!

According to the Chy Hive, they wanted to see more excursions as 94 per cent of the pollsters said yes to another random journey while only six per cent said no.

I also analysed that the six per cent of the Chy Hive who said ‘no’ to more solo trips, were concerned about stories of human trafficking.

Therefore, I, Chy, opted to explore my home island some more, but decided to plan the trip with some cool, outgoing friends who not only ensured my safety but that I had one hell of a time!

Anyways, our journey started with a cold Heineken before heading to Ocho Rios in St Ann.

To my surprise, our journey took us to the Soiree party beach!

I bet you want to know where that is.

The weather was amazing, sunny but windy.

The drinks were cold yet refreshing and …. really, just laying back on the sand preparing my mind for the week ahead was the most relaxing feeling ever.

Granted, the sun did burn a little!

But, hey, girls just wanna have some fun or sun,…..whichever, my mission was accomplished!

The company was epic, I didn’t have a nip slip (Thank God) … I’m definitely loving these mobile journeys outside of the very polluted city of Kingston.

Plus, the beach was not very populated, might I add, so my concerns about COVID-19 didn’t have me spiraling, lol!
