Jamaican-based seafood exporter and distributor, Rainforest Caribbean continues to grow its export market, taking its Caribbean products now to Taiwan in East Asia.

Last month, Rainforest made seven shipments to four countries, namely Taiwan, St. Lucia, Barbados and Martinique. This reflects another milestone, as the Jamaican seafood company continues sharing the taste of the Caribbean beyond its shores.

Rainforest Caribbean has been ramping up exports of its premium seafood and local Jamaican food products from its logistics hub to over 30 countries worldwide, exporting seafood varieties like lobster, conch, and fish fillets.

This is in addition to locally manufactured goods including bammies and festival mixes, frozen fruit bars and blended fruit products. Rainforest International’s reach now extends to more than 30 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, and Greece.

Operations span five regional territories

The operations span five primary regional territories—Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, and Belize—with active distribution networks across neighbouring islands.

The business model has expanded to a Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Diaspora Focus, where the company is scaling consumer-branded product lines in North America and Europe backed by dedicated United States distribution.

There is also a value-added focus, where high-demand items like spiny lobster, queen conch, value-added breaded proteins, and smoked fish drive international sales and are driving the Rainforest export push.
