Beverage giants Red Stripe has extended the scope of its Employee Children Assistance and Development Fund to encompass students enrolled in primary education institutions.
In an initiative that underscores its commitment to employees and Jamaica’s future, the company indicated that the programme is rooted in its ‘Care for People’ strategic plan, with the expansion signalling Red Stripe’s role in cultivating potential across generations.
Fund beneficiaries can be either biological and non-biological children of the company’s permanent employees. In addition to the expansion to include primary education, the fund will make a bonus award of a Samsung tablet to the top performing PEP student whose parent is a Red Stripe employee.
“Red Stripe understands that it’s the people that make our company and uplifting our team members is the mandate of our Care for People development pillar. Therefore, we always try to ensure our employees thrive within and outside the workplace,” said Judon Bowden, Red Stripe’s human resource manager.

“We believe that fostering a culture of support and recognition makes Red Stripe not just a workplace but a thriving ecosystem where talent flourishes and development is fostered.”
Moreover, Red Stripe actively fosters continuous learning through its Employee Development Fund, which empowers staff members to advance their personal and professional growth.
It serves as a platform through which individuals can pursue education, participate in professional conferences, and secure memberships that contribute to their professional advancement.
“This unwavering commitment to employee development underscores Red Stripe’s dedication to cultivating a workforce that excels in an ever-evolving landscape,” said Bowden.
