The police enforced 48-hour curfews in sections of Kingston Western and St Andrew South on Wednesday, September 20 at 6 p.m.

The curfews began at 6 p.m. and are expected to end on Friday at the same time.

Areas in St Andrew South affected include: Pretoria Road, Waltham Park Road, Maxfield Avenue and
Whitfield Town.

The areas affected in Kingston Western are: Rousseau Road, Maxfield Avenue, Lincoln Crescent, West Road, and Spanish Town Road.

Law enforcers are reminding residents that during these hours, all individuals within the specified areas are mandated to stay in their premises for 48 hours, unless granted authorisation by the ground commander.
