At a time when the prices for night-time events are climbing, Campus Elite Jamaica and the Ribbiz have teamed up on the staging of a free-to-enter midweek event for college students.

Since the summer of 2023, Ribbiz Reserve Wnzdz’ Wednesday night party series has been a reprieve for young people and fans of music, food, and a good time. What initially began as a place to provide university students with a midweek escape has evolved into an energetic space for attendees can let loose and unwind.

Campus Elite shared with Our Today that its last iteration of the event has solidified its status as the go-to venue for young adults, with approximately 600 people attending the last event, close to the capacity of the venue at the Ribbiz Ultra Lounge in Kingston. It has even featured appearances by local celebrities such as track & field legend Usain Bolt, footballer Leon Bailey and dancehall artiste Valiant.

“Ribbiz Reserve Wnzdz was conceived as a way to create an exceptional mid-week summer event series. We wanted to give college students a place to have fun without having to wait for the weekend. Originally, we only intended it for the summer, but our supporters insisted that we continue the event,” explained Sandré Malcolm, CEO of Campus Elite and director of Ribbiz Reserve Wnzdz.

As the 2023/2024 school year begins, Campus Elite wants the university populace to know that there is a place that they can go to on a Wednesday night that is economically feasible and entertainment-packed.
