LCH Developments today announces the appointment of Joel Tate as Director of Project Management for The Pinnacle, the US$450 million, Isiaa Madden-designed development combining mixed residences, branded residences and a hotel, transforming Montego Bay’s Reading Peninsula.

Tate joins at a defining moment for the project. Tower One topped out in December 2025 and is on track for completion in May 2027, standing 28 storeys with 141 residences over the north coast. Towers Two, Three and Four are progressing through an intensive design refinement phase in partnership with Accor Ennismore, combining the group’s highest global hospitality standards with the sophisticated, diverse ecosystem envisioned for The Pinnacle, one deeply rooted in Jamaican heritage and local identity.

“A development of this size and complexity needs someone who has done it before,” said Yangsen Li, CEO of LCH Developments. “Joel has spent his career delivering hospitality projects and leading large teams through work like this. That experience gives our buyers and our partners real confidence in how The Pinnacle will be delivered.”

“What drew me to The Pinnacle is the ambition and the vision behind it,” said Joel Tate, Director of Project Management, The Pinnacle. “Four distinct towers on the north coast of Jamaica, in a setting very few developments anywhere in the world can match. With Tower One topped off and heading toward completion in 2027, my focus is on delivering the entire project to a single, consistent standard. I’m proud to be part of the team building it.”

Tate brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate development and construction across the hospitality, commercial and mixed-use sectors. Most recently, he was President and Founder of Tate Consulting Services in Tampa, Florida. Before that, he spent 15 years with Project Development Services, Inc. (PDSI), rising to Director of Operations and Senior Project Director, where he led a team of more than 50 professionals delivering hotel and hospitality projects across the US. His earlier career includes representing owners through major multi-family and commercial development in Tysons Corner, Virginia. He is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, the Project Management Institute and NEWH.
