Professor Haldane Davies, presidentof UCC, said: “We are anticipating excellent discourse around the very topical subject of technology at this year’s research conference. We have the privilege of a distinguished cadre of presenters including representatives from the corporate sectors and Caribbean experts.”

“The UCC’s Annual Research Conference is an extremely important opportunity for our faculty and staff to present exciting cutting edge research findings from their fields of study. It helps our students hone their presentation skills, develop discipline and confidence and the valuable feedback contributes to the refinement of their research.”

What’s more, Davies said: “We are extremely proud that the research being done at the UCC has been integral to the development of various policies and products in Jamaica.”

The conference will also be streamed on the institution’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
