Reports have emerged that former One Direction member Zayn Malik and his daughter’s grandmother Yolanda Hadid, had an altercation recently.

It has been said that the singer shoved Hadid into a dresser some time last week, as they argued about his three-year-old daughter, whom he shares with partner, supermodel Gigi Hadid ,who was not present at the time.

The Pillow Talk singer denies these claims stating: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

Yolanda 57, stands by her claim, saying the altercation caused her mental anguish and physical pain. The elder Hadid also claims the singer used very harsh words against her.

Tying the knot in November of 2015, reports have surfaced that the couple have now separated as a result of the alleged altercation between the supermodel’s mother and her husband.
