
The Board of Directors of Seprod Limited (JSE: SEP) has called an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders to approve an increase in the Company’s authorised share capital, a five-for-one stock split and give the Board the authority to issue shares, including by way of an Additional Public Offering.
The Board met on 21 September 2026 and agreed to put three resolutions to shareholders: an increase in the number of shares the Company is authorised to issue from 1 billion to 1.9 billion; the subdivision of every issued share into five shares; and authority for the Board to issue new shares in future, including through an Additional Public Offering.
“Over the past four years we have built the Caribbean’s largest integrated manufacturing and distribution platform for food, pharmaceuticals and premium beverages”, said P.B. Scott, Chairman of Seprod.

“We are now focused on integrating our businesses and strengthening our balance sheet. The resolutions before shareholders will provide Seprod with greater flexibility to pursue these objectives while positioning the Company to take advantage of future growth opportunities.”
Seprod reported revenue of J$152.3 billion for the year ended 31 December 2025, up 14 per cent, with operating profit of J$11.1 billion and net profit attributable to stockholders of J$4.2 billion.
The Extraordinary General Meeting will be held virtually on Monday, 12 October 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
