The Caribbean Community of Retired Persons (CCRP) is pleased to announce the 14th staging of their Living Legacy Awards, recognising seven distinguished awardees for their outstanding contributions to Jamaica.

The 2026 Living Legacy Award recipients are Mrs Lorna Bell, OD, Mr Clive ‘Busy’ Campbell, the Phillip and Christine Gore Foundation, Daniel Grizzle, OD, JP, Mrs Jasnieth Harvey, Rev. Dr Artnel Henry, CD and Mrs Gladwyn Elaine McKenzie-Campbell.

The Living Legacy Awards celebrate seniors aged 60 and over whose achievements, service and dedication have made a meaningful and lasting contribution to the nation. Through the awards, CCRP seeks to recognise individuals and organisations whose work has positively impacted communities and helped to shape Jamaica.

CCRP Director and Chair of the Living Legacy Awards Committee, Mrs Vilma McDonald, said the organisation is pleased to celebrate this year’s recipients.

“The Living Legacy Awards give us an opportunity to pause and honour Jamaicans who have given of themselves and whose contributions have helped to make our country stronger,” she noted. “This year’s recipients have each made an outstanding contribution to Jamaica, and we are delighted to celebrate their achievements and legacies.”

The 2026 Living Legacy Awards Luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, bringing together family, friends, colleagues and supporters to celebrate the recipients and their contributions to Jamaica.

The ceremony continues CCRP’s commitment to recognising the value of experience, achievement and service, while highlighting the significant contributions made by older Jamaicans to national development.
