Harry Kane became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 100 goals as Bayern Munich cruised past Union Berlin in a seven-goal victory.
The England captain reached the landmark from the penalty spot in his 98th league appearance.
Kane later headed home his 101st Bundesliga goal, taking his Bayern total to 152 goals in 154 appearances across all competitions. Michael Olise produced a brilliant hat-trick, including two goals in three minutes late in the match.
Jamal Musiala opened the scoring with a powerful strike from 20 yards, while summer signing Ismael Saibari also grabbed his first Bayern goal. Kane’s record surpassed Dieter Muller, who needed 129 matches to score his first 100 Bundesliga goals, while Bayern legend Gerd Muller required 136. The striker has now scored seven goals in seven appearances against Union Berlin and six goals in seven matches this season. Bayern’s victory also extended their unbeaten start to the campaign.
