Megan Thee Stallion tapped as creator, executive producer of own Netflix series

Megan Thee Stallion has been on a role in securing a number of mega deals and partnerships, with the rapper’s latest, being a first-look deal with streaming company Netflix.

Netflix who made the announcement on Thursday (December 16), has agreed to allow the Savage rapper to create and executively produce television series and other projects on the streaming service, no detiails however, were given on the specifics on specifics of the series or project.

Thee Stallion has made a few appearances on the big screen, starring as a judge in the Legendary series, scoring guest roles in Sarah Cooper’s Netlflix Comedy Special and Good Girls.

The entrepreneur shared her excitement about the partnership revealing that she has always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories.

“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix. Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch,” the star said.

Head of Comedy at Netflix, Tracey Pakosta, expressed how thrilled the streaming company is that Megan is making a home there on her next journey, adding that the multi-talented creative force is always making her mark on culture.

“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey,” Pakosta explained.
