A trough across Jamaica is expected to remain in place over the next few days, bringing afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly across central and western parishes.

Wednesday and Thursday will see similar conditions, with mainly sunny mornings followed by afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms in western and south-central areas.

By Friday, cloudy conditions with showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across sections of most parishes, while some showers may linger over southern and northwestern areas tonight.
