Fans of the web-slinging hero will be able to finish their summer with a bang!

It has been confirmed that the Spider-Man: No Way Home re-release will feature an additional 11 minutes of footage, while an on-sale date for tickets has also finally been revealed.

Spider-Man: No Way Home broke box office records last December, and managed to exceed all expectations in that post-pandemic landscape, saving movie theatres in the process.

We’re not exactly surprised that Sony Pictures plans to release an extended version of the threequel next month, though the rumoured 15 minutes of deleted scenes missing from the Blu-ray has now become 11 minutes, according to Fandango. That’s not too bad, and should be enough to entice Spidey fans back into theatres.

With this news comes confirmation that tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version will go on sale starting tomorrow (August 23). Hopefully, that means we’ll be getting a trailer with some sort of glimpse at those never-before-seen moments.

Fans are definitely intrigued by what this extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home will include, anyway, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea for Sony to take this opportunity to finally drop a decent poster with all three Spider-Men front and centre.

One big question is whether this cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home will have a post-credits scene. When it was released in theatres, the first teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness came right at the very end of the movie, and we’d be shocked if that hasn’t been swapped out for a Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse teaser (similar to what Venom had).

This week promises to be exciting for fans of the web-slinger!
