What a fantastic evening!

Great Worthy Park rum, delicious food, new and old friends, learning how to make great cocktails, laughter and merriment – all at Jamaica Food & Drink Kitchen at Barbican Road, St Andrew on Wednesday evening (August 16).

Guests included vivacious media personality Debbie Bisoon, Jesse Royal and Brush1 Chromatic.

How fortuitous it was that this splendid event took place on National Rum Day.

It certainly was a night of cooking and conversation and thoroughly enjoyable at that! Chef Celeste Gordon served up a delectable menu. I’ll have to scurry to my kitchen this weekend to see if I can come close to her delectable pork tenderloin and breadfruit puree.

Alexander ‘Zan’ Kong, Worthy Park Estate’s commercial manager, showed patrons how to make great Worthy Park Rum cocktails. The man is a rum artist who is a font of knowledge and history on alcoholic beverages.
