Motorsporting Jamaican Tommi Gore kicked off the 2025 ADAC GT4 Germany season at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben over the weekend.

The race marked Gore’s debut with his new teammate, Alon Gabbay from Israel.

With the field incredibly stacked, and just fractions separating the participants, Gore and Gabbay qualified P8 for Race 1 and P12 for Race 2.

Gore described the team’s strategy at the end of the race.

“Alon started Race 1 and we held strong through tough battles to bring the car home in P8. I took the start for Race 2, but unfortunately, a competitor attempted an overly ambitious move at the start before even reaching into Turn 1, which resulted in contact. It was ruled a racing incident by the stewards, but meant an early end to our race,” he stated.

“Despite the DNF (did not finish), there’s a lot of upside. The car felt great, the team is working in sync, and our sponsors had major visibility across all channels. The media attention before and during the weekend has been amazing,” he added.

Gore boasts sponsors such as Amsoil, ATL Automotive, Sandals Resorts International, Supreme Ventures & Ria, S Hotels Jamaica, Mobay Freight, Sherwin Williams and Kul-Cha Rum. Gore will be at this weekend’s Jamaica Auto Show on May 10 and 11th with the Amsoil, ATL Automotive, and Sherwin Williams displays on site. 

“Looking ahead, I’ll be back on track July 5–6 at the iconic Norisring Street circuit in Germany. Until then, I’m back home in Jamaica where we’re finishing the build on my Evolution 8 Rally car, aiming for a June debut in local competition,” Gore shared.

Still at an early start in the competition, the young driver believes there is “plenty of rounds left to make a big impact”.
